WHO WE ARE
MAGVA Design + Letterpress is a family operated design and letterpress print studio located in the centre of Ireland. Established by Antonella Magliocco Vaugh, our name, MAGVA is formed by combining the first few characters of Antonella’s maiden and married names. Our domain name was first registered in 2003 and MAGVA was registered as a business in 2007. Our website address is https://www.magva.com

Our customer’s privacy is important to us. Our commitment to data security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
Our website is hosted on secure servers and is constantly monitored for DDoS attacks, uptime and malware scanning by our host. We also have extra defence monitoring on our site and lockout repeated failed login attempts or suspicious login attempts.
We have implemented an EV-SSL (Extend Validation – Secure Sockets Layer) certificate on the hosting space to encrypt the data that you share with us. This means that the data you enter into any forms or fields on our contact forms, or you enter when making a purchase is transferred to our servers over a secure and private link. Our certificate features Extended Validation which means that MAGVA Design + Letterpress has been audited by the issuing agent and passed a rigorous validation process ensuring that we meet the criteria set down by the CA/B Forum. Visitors to our website will see a green address bar with our business name confirming that we are secured with an authorized EV-SSL Certificate.

How we use information
We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We don’t collect credit card or banking details on our site. We use your e-mail addresses to answer the e-mail we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties.
You can register with our website if you would like to receive our newsletter as well as updates on our new products and services. The information you submit on our website will not be used for this purpose unless you fill out the registration form.
Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you with an opportunity to opt out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
WHAT RIGHTS YOU HAVE TO YOUR DATA

WHAT DATA BREACH PROCEDURES DO WE HAVE IN PLACE
To limit any exposure to a data breach, we ensure that our website is always up to date with latest security patches. We also maintain regular and secure backups and export completed orders to secure storage periodically.
In the unlikely event of a breach, we undertake to notify the appropriate supervisory authority within 72 hours of us becoming aware of a breach of user’s personal data. We notify this authority of the number of users whose data we have confirmed has been exposed, the nature of the breach and what actions are being taken to mitigate its effects. We will also notify the impacted users, especially if the data breach exposed any of their unencrypted personal data.
